Lactation support is health care

Prenatal education

If you are pregnant and wish to breastfeed, then attending a prenatal lactation education visit is shown to improve your chances of reaching your breastfeeding goals!

At this visit we'll go over basic breastfeeding skills, we take a look at your health history (to spot any potential complications), identify your feeding goals, and we discuss the early steps you can take to be successful in your journey. This is one-on-one prenatal education and it is personalized to your individual journey.

Self pay rates:

  • In-home $150, up to 60 minutes

  • Virtual $120, up to 60 minutes

Lactation Support

If you are struggling with breastfeeding, a lactation support consultation can help.

During our session, we will review your health history, assess latch and positioning, and use pre- and post-feed weights to track progress. I will also perform an oral exam on your baby and answer all your questions.

Together, we will build a care plan tailored to your family’s unique feeding goals.

Your session includes:

• A customized Care Plan delivered to your inbox.
• Two weeks of dedicated follow-up via text and secure messaging.

Self-pay rates:

• In-home: $225 (up to 90 minutes)
• Virtual: $120 (up to 60 minutes)

Includes:

  • A personalized Care Plan emailed to you after our visit

  • Text, email, and secure messaging support for two additional weeks (response can take up to 24 hours)

Self pay rates:

  • In-home $150, up to 60 minutes

  • Virtual $90, up to 45 minutes

There is an additional charge plus additional minutes for twins/multiples.

Some notes…

Not all breastfeeding struggles may be resolved after one visit, follow-up visits may be necessary to address all issues.

Virtual visits, while a great option, do have limitations on the things that can be accomplished. If possible, consider doing an initial in-person visit with virtual follow ups.
